Melanie Rea.

Melanie was born, raised and still lives in the beautiful and historic Fountain City area of Knoxville, TN. After graduation, Melanie spent time working in the insurance industry where she helped people insure their most valuable assets such as their homes and automobiles. 

 

She also spent time working in the mortgage industry assisting customers with financing their dream homes. She always loved the excitement of her customers when they would tell her about their new homes and their hopes and dreams for the future.

 

One day as she was speaking with her beloved grandmother and grandfather who both had been Realtors in Dallas for many years, her grandmother told her: "Melanie, there's always been a 'REA' in REAL Estate." As cute and simple as this statement was, it really made Melanie think about how much she enjoyed working with people and loved to hear the happiness in customer's voices when they spoke about their new house. That was when she decided that a career in Real Estate would be the perfect job for her. Melanie attended TREES, the premiere Real Estate school in East Tennessee, and then joined the National Association of Realtors as well as the Knoxville Area Association of Realtors.

 

Since that time, Melanie has thoroughly enjoyed helping home buyers and home sellers come together to fulfill their mutual desires. "The best part," she says "is when you walk into that house with a client for the first time and you see their face light up, and they start talking about where they are going to place their furniture or what colors they envision on the walls. There's just not another feeling like it in the world.
